I know this product has been reviewed on many different blogs but I just had to share my love for this foundation. I am currently on my 5th bottle and haven’t deviated from it since I began using it – which is a compliment in itself as I am a sucker for any new product that I haven’t used before, especially if it is in pretty packaging. It really is the staple of my makeup kit at the moment.
I am pale and have dry skin which normally makes it hard for me to find a foundation that I really love, but I have fallen hard for this product. It is a creamy foundation that works well on my skin, however, because of its creaminess, it may not be best suited to those with very oily skin but for those with combination and dry skin, I would recommend this product 100%.
I have this foundation in two shades:
100 Ivory and 201 Classic Beige. This is simply because in the daytime, I
prefer a more natural light look, as in the evenings I go for a more
sophisticated look. However, both shades seem to suit me nicely – which again,
I have not found any other foundation that I have been able to wear in two
shades but still look natural!
I have heard people mention how the
foundation looks shimmery in the packaging, but just to clarify with those that
are put off with this (as I would be), it doesn’t give you a shimmery look at
all (I really hate shimmer foundations, especially in the daytime). The only
time, I have every noticed the shimmer was in my bathroom at night when I had a
spotlight directly over me.
This product really is fantastic! To
sum up it is great value for money (£8.99 RRP), lasts longer than you expect, if you use a
good primer it will provide medium coverage and last a good 6-9 hours without
a touch up (I have worn this foundation and it has lasted a 6 hour shift whilst
I have been in and out of a hot kitchen) and provides you with a natural,
healthy-looking glow. This really is a case of ‘it does what it says on the can’.
